  •  Out of curiousity, what would look like (7+ / 0-)

"an immediate lead" to you?  Comments prior to the trial?  Comments in the moments after the verdict when there was a potential risk that protests that were springing up from New York to Los Angeles would turn violent?  The former would have been an inappropriate tainting of the judicial process; the latter would have been a really bad idea...

    •  I don't think that if (0+ / 0-)

President Obama said the other day what he said today that there would have been more riots. I'm just very grateful that he has finally taken a moral lead on this issue as our nation's leader in chief. Peace.

the sincerity of your "gratitude" is wearing on the thin side.

Your title alone gives you away. This is just another snipe-at-Pres-Obama, for which my patience is wearing thin.

I was an Obama delegate and have gone to every campaign appearance he has made along the Front Range in Colorado.  I vote for him, I love him. This is the one and only time I have ever suggested that he was behind the ball. Also just as an fyi I've been posting about the Trayvon Martin case every day since the verdict and the evening crew is blasting me for having wanted some action from our President and the day crew is blasting me for being too liberal! Geez. Peace
