      Ditko. A is A after all and there's only black and white, no gray. If Ditko's "Objectivist" convictions are to be taken seriously and I think they are, any use of his creative work without payment would be intolerable.

      I wouldn't be surprised if he had objected to the whole idea of the cartoon series, since he would have had no creative input, much less control. According to an interview Lee gave shortly before the parting of the ways, Ditko had pretty much taken complete control of the comic book, implying that he had become quite the Diva in the process.  

      Nothing human is alien to me.
