    I think it's clear that he shouldn't have (since TM would still be alive)... but the dispatcher he was on the phone with absolutely did not tell him "not to follow."

      that suggested that GZ should let him know what, if anything, he saw TM doing or where he might have gone.  The instructions were conflicting, at best.

        Sean Noffke, testified on the stand that while he did not mean those comments to ask Zimmerman to go see where Martin was going, he could understand how Zimmerman could have taken them as a request to go see where Martin was going.  

        That was just one more instance of the defense turning a prosecution witness into a big plus for them.   When you are trying a case, having the other side, on cross, turning your witness into a big plus for them is a bad, bad feeling.  Every lawyer who has tried cases knows the feeling -- it's not good.
