  •  Since we're using common sense... (5+ / 0-)

Is it common sense that a person pointing a gun at another person would let them scream on and off for at least forty seconds (we hear 40 seconds worth on the 911 call, but it could have started earlier)?  With houses all around?  With at least one person who had already come out to investigate the noise?  Knowing that police were on the way and could arrive any moment?  With all these potential ways of being caught in the act THEN shoot his victim?

Sorry, but that seems preposterous to me.  If the screaming had only lasted a few seconds then perhaps, but for it to go on and on under those circumstances before Zimmerman finally shooting him really defies belief.

I think it's almost certain that Trayvon was on top when the shot was fired, and it seemed as though after so much testimony to that fact even the prosecutors had to try to admit it.  This probably hurt the prosecution credibility since they originally claimed Zimmerman was on top.

One who would assault an officer in public?  Not everyone thinks that clearly when they are angry.

    •  Maybe z shot him by accident. His hollow point (0+ / 0-)

loaded gun didn't have a safety.

If Trayvon was on top of him and banging his head on the pavement, why is the top or TM's head more than 6' from the sidewalk?

Two witnesses stated that the man and boy were standing when the shot was fired. Tm is retreating backwards, GM has a grip on his hoodle low and on the right, the gun and out close to TM's chest... boom. Maybe TM takes a swing at GZ while screaming in terror and GZ decides to put a bullet thru him.

And witnesses put TM on top. Some put TM on the bottom and two say both adult and minor were standing when the shot was fired.
