I gained a lot of self confidence from selling tickets so I think the girls can learn a lot from the cookie sales, but I believe strongly that the money should go to support the camps and other activities for the girls. Leadership skills OTOH are better taught through the traditional outdoor programs.

Assets shouldn't be sold off to provide pensions for the CEO and other executives. Those assets belong to the girls and are part of the core mission of the Girl Scouts.

Whenever the cookie drives start up I try to buy some which I use as gifts since I'm on a low carb diet or I just give the girls some money and tell them to keep the cookies.

The only trouble with retirement is...I never get a day off!
