  •  "spam" en espanol (0+ / 0-)
Google translate returns "correo no deseado," or "unwanted email," for spam.
This would only apply to email. This article is basically "comment spam" (even though it's not actually a comment), which is something that anyone who maintains a Wordpress site knows all about.

I'll ask about this at my "intercambio" Wednesday night, but I suspect the answer is that they just call it "spam".

    •  Wikipedia came through (0+ / 0-)

I used a trick I learned a couple of weeks ago. I looked up "spam" in Wikipedia, then clicked on "Espanol" in the left column.

The title of the Spanish article is "spam", but it says in the first sentence that it's also called "correo basura" (junk mail) or "mensaje basura" (junk message). So, this article would be "mensaje basura", although you could dignify it by calling it a "noticia basira". ("Noticia" is a news article.)
