    I'll call it now: The next election over there is going have a shooting at a polling place when some Z-Man hero decides he needs to stand his ground against a voter in a hoodie...
    - Or facts of a similar nature.

    Perhaps minority voters though, SHOULD go there armed to the teeth, to stop the Z-Men.

      in the committee meeting, the additional poll observers would not actually be present in the poll, but would provide back-ups should the originals call in sick on election day.

      Apparently, they need a deep bench (I believe the number is 10 or 12?) in these here southern precincts.

      (But I was an observer in 2008, and we couldn't help but notice that there were no GOP observers at that precinct all day! Well, it was raining in Durham on election day. . . .)
