    Ditto the filibuster.

    Official Senate rules:

    Progressive legislation requires 60 votes.
Center-Right business as usual requires 50 votes.

Thus you have our revered institution: Dithering Heights.

Larry Summers fits the bill for an Obama adviser perfectly:

    1. He's Centrist-y.
    2. He's Bipartisan-y.
    3. He's Compromise-y.

An absolute shoe-in. Progressives may mount a filibuster, but the Capitulocratic Democratic leadership will test their secret weapon for use against a Republican president: opting to "keep their powder dry." (tm)

By the way, I haven't yet seen the Center Right psy-ops team boosting their choice for the Sexist Chief. Still posting "Snowden's a traitor and a coward!!!" I guess.

And God said, "Let there be light"; and with a Big Bang, there was light. And God said "Ow! Ow My eyes!" and in a flash God separated light from darkness. "Whew! Now that's better. Now where was I. Oh yea . . ."
