Her leading facial expression and tone is to scold first, ask questions later.

You would not want to work for such a beast, since she would be using you, the internet tubes, the file cabinets and the soup of the day in the corporate cafeteria to leapfrog her career over yours.

You would not want to be a neighbour, since she would at least give the impression that there is something about you, your house, your car, your landscaping, or your garbage cans that she doesn't approve of.

You would not want her to represent you, because even if you were conservative, she wouldn't ever be representing YOU.... Hahahaha!

    Hoo boy.

    Ugh. --UB.

I've ever heard a man called a scold.

But it is a good word to use. I am going to start calling males scolds where it is appropriate, like Dan Burton.

        •  There ya go! Male and female "scolds" are... (0+ / 0-)

          all over the place.

          And WAIT A MINUTE!!!!

Doesn't anyone think that the Dick, Cheeny, wasn't a scold whenever he got on a network TV interview show?

And even when he traded hearts....

(Oh, that was mean of me... -- wait. No, it wasn't.)

          Ugh. --UB.

      •  Oh, no, I have met and endured men who... (0+ / 0-)

        were "scolds".

A parish priest, who always had his "mad face" on.

A Mormon cultist who wore a smile, but was a "scold" nonetheless.

A neighbour who thought he had his "sky god's" ear and scolded anyone who exhibited sexy or liberal habits or clothing.

So, no, Men can be really good "scolds", too.

        ;o)

        Ugh. --UB.
