Zimmerman is lying about what really happened...

You keep leaving that possibility out...yet it remains the option that most fits the evidence..

Fear doesn't just breed incomprehension. It also breeds a spiteful, resentful hate of anyone and everyone who is in any way different from you.

Approaching someone with hostile intent and carrying a handgun that is already locked and loaded is assault with a deadly weapon.
That's what you said in the beginning.

Now, We only have two choices:

      1) GZ approaches gun out, which is assault
      2) GZ approaches with gun holstered which is not assault.

sorry, Item 2 is not assault, because there is no reasonable imminent threat.

So if it's item 1, how does TM end up so close to GZ?
Certainly it's by not seeing the gun or not caring and letting the distance close.

if it's item 2, then why does TM close the distance?

Look you have a problem, in your heart, it just bothers you that TM is dead, and so you want to construct a legal crime to
fit the circumstances.  The State tried and just couldn't.

Even if you discount every piece of GZs testimony, you still have to figure out how a fat out of shape desk jockey catches up to a lean, thin, athletic high schooler who has a head start and is running already.

The cops couldn't figure that one out, the local prosecutors couldn't, the cops had 6 hours to break GZs story and sure couldn't. They thought he was credible.

You need to put together a crime, using the law,not how you feel about it.

      •  As you said (0+ / 0-)

you were not there. But seeing that you invoked "common sense"

explain, if Zimmerman was telling the truth why there was none of his genetic material on Trayvon Martin.

        Nothing.

No spit, no blood, no sweat, no hairs, no fibers from his clothes.

Despite his claims that he was attacked; despite his claims that he was getting his head slammed repeatedly into the concrete by Martin... there is no forensic evidence and there is no medical evidence to support those claims.

No concussion. No facial bruising. No excessive bleeding from his bald scalp. No medical attention required beyond wiping his owies with normal saline on gauze not requiring a band-aid or an aspirin.

in fact, the only thing Trayvon Martin had from George Zimmerman is the  hollow point bullet that killed him.

Yet you want us to believe that the claims made by Zimmerman are true and that believing such is the "common sense conclusion"

Follow the science if you want a common sense conclusion... and the science says Zimmerman is full of shit.

Fear doesn't just breed incomprehension. It also breeds a spiteful, resentful hate of anyone and everyone who is in any way different from you.

        •  why there was no GZ DNA on TM (0+ / 0-)

          very simple.

the police in Sanford Florida aren't CSI-Miami, it's
          CSI-Hillbilly.

You think they get out there with Emily Deschanel and her whole team from Bones  http://www.imdb.com/...
and then david caruso shows up with his laser
          and figures it all out.

          http://www.imdb.com/...

well i hate to break it to you.

The cops showed up, took a few pictures, then
carted the body off, and let the ME do his thing
and they questioned GZ for 6 hours, then closed the file.

Did they take plaster casts of every footprint and try and determine, who ran where, and when, and if anyone was crouching, or where the fight started or who threw the first blow?  Heck no.

Did they go out and laser the whole scene looking for blood spatter? and try and determine who was standing where, punching?  No.

Did they even bag TM's hands or clothing to preserve DNA, Blood or fiber?  Nope.

It's pretty obvious TM punched GZ at least a couple of times, that there was no evidence recovered speaks to the poor crime scene processing.

Heck, they had a dead kid, did they even go door to door and canvas the community, to see if anyone knew him?

really, it was a crappy job by the cops, and that's all that is.

          •  That dog wont hunt (0+ / 0-)

no matter how many times you repeat it. You keep blaming Martin... and blaming the police.. but you just cant bring yourself to blame George Zimmerman...for anything in this...

Whatev; you do you. I'm done.
