Until everyone now living in our nation of all ages...learn a little bit of fuckin' history..and force some level of govt to arrest us because we object..then..well...

The ignorance..that of what Gandhi showed us..is stunning.
It is no longer enough (still) to go "oh no" ...
I have truly at 63.. at a point..where if you do not have the courage of your convictions to force a misdemeanor blemish upon your record? Well ..quit commenting on what should be done!

I look at all the oh no comments...in the drumbeat to Syria i told my wife...I am tired of going to jail...

really...if you..in your core of belief..want to simply "raise your hand" in objection...but are afraid of being arrested..
then...ya are afraid like the old white folks that watch FOX..

or you can volunteer for a candidate of your choice...
but..please..if you lack the courage to resist this bullshit in a non-violent manner? ...cool

But I think some of the "oh noes" are actually expressing an interest to participate in the protests. I simply don't have the resources to travel to Madtown at this time. But understand that I've been trying to find a way around this barrier again today. It's not easy to engage the unwilling. It's worse when they're not connected to Wisconsin.

They just don't understand that this kind of crap is happening in all of the red states. And it can happen overnight in any blue state. Elections have been and still are rigged, be it gerrymandering or voter suppression or election fraud.

And then there are the permanently ignorant and apathetic who don't bother to vote and don't give a shit about current events. Suddenly they may become aware; but it will be too late. That's why knowing the f'ing history is so important. Many states stopped teaching basic civics in public schools years ago, too. This is the wrong direction.

You do have a point, though. I try to look at some of these "oh noes" as if they're awakening to a little chunk of reality. Whether they can muster the courage to participate and conquer the fear of arrest is another matter. Still, I hope they'll eventually engage in citizen activities that matter.

Can't make the trip to Madison like I used to, health issues and finances get in the way.

Kind of preventing the spread of hate. Only missed a couple of times Its kind of a 'public service', but not like getting arrested.

Able to do it again today, after reading this BS, was glad of it. They are nuts out here and don't want to be prevented from continuing as it could backfire. GOG as your sig line says..pigs and all.

The trusted few out here agree, and hope others can 'participate' as well in their area.
