    And honestly? It's not now.

    The more people you convince that it is actually possible to retake the House this year, barring a literally once-every-century election, the more people will (~99% chance) be crushingly disappointed and turned off of politics after the next election.

    Set realistic goals, and then try to meet them. Setting pie-in-the-sky goals and being beaten down every time is a recipe for permanent voter apathy. Perhaps you are not prone to such human frailties — some are not. But most of us are. And the last we need is even less participation in the future.
