Looks like she had an 18 year old son who was stabbed in 2008. She sure has some bad luck.

he was stabbed attempting to ambush another kid.  Other kid took the knife and killed him.  No charges filed since it was self defense.

It could be that the teens are indeed guilty. But this woman seems awfully suspicious to me.

        •  I think the chance that the mother (5+ / 0-)

was the shooter is extremely unlikely.

She was shot twice, once in the ear and once in the leg.  I find it difficult to believe that she would physically be able to do this to herself.  Also, how in the world could she have hidden the gun well enough that no one could find it so quickly.  Especially after shooting herself!?

Then is it the father?  He says that he was at Wal there video evidence?

I also don't think that the police in this case are racially motivated.  Why?  Well the Chief of Police is an african-american  and I don't think that anyone, even a racist cop, is wiling to let a baby killer go free just to convict two african-american kids.

I know people are trying to compare this to Susan Smith...but the only similarity is a white woman blaming an african-american.  In the Smith case the police always had her under suspicion and never arrested anyone other than Smith.
