    to be noticed, that the Democratic party has permanently started to shift to not just an inclusive voting block of constituents but an approach that respects, empowers and includes those under its tent as well as those outside.

    Machine politics where votes are taken for granted is reducing.  Meriting the job as the reason to vote for someone will increase going forward and not just that, the candidates will be representative of the groups that are underrepresented now.  So minorities and women won't just be votes counted but will be more and more the ones that hope to win votes for their own candidacy.  I love what I see in the future.

    Now that will be getting our act together.

      that might yet diminish the influence of average Dems that would otherwise be included. I'm very worried about the idea that social progress may be temporarily made, while the economy and middle and working classes are trashed by the Dem's love affair with neoliberal economics.

      Case in point: Obama's love affair with Larry Summers. That's just not right.
