      In particular, keep in mind that this isn't choosing winners or losers, it is preventing a species we drove to the brink from going under.  THe Barred Owl is going to be fine even if wide spread management is implemented.

      Also, it isn't letting "nature" take its course, since this is a consequence of our own actions in destroying almost all of the spotted owls habitat.  There's nothing "natural" about this circumstance.

      Touch all that arises with a spirit of compassion. An activist seeks to change opinion.
