  •  It's fine in Chapel Hill? Hmmm ... bet the folks (0+ / 0-)

of rightwing "old Southern" persuasion who live in gated communities think it's "fine" in the all-white world they live in, too. And it is too bad that things are unfortunate for people living in other places ...."but it's fine here!"
America is gerrymandered in its national psyche, not its voting districts.

    •  You misunderstood me (0+ / 0-)

People were broad-brushing the all-around awfulness and lack of progressiveness in the south.

All I said was that not all of the south is right wing.  There are places in the south--like Chapel Hill--where Republicans do not always win.

Please don't jump to conclusions--and insults.  You have no idea how I live, how I grew up, where I came from.

Just because the government keeps a record of real property transfers, it doesn't mean that the government wants to confiscate your home.

    •  And besides (0+ / 0-)

Chapel Hill is far from "all-white."
