    the infrastructure bills, water, sewer, highways etc.  Most of these stadiums get PPTX abatement to "stay".

    I say let them all move if they want to.  Detroit should require public ownership like the Greenbay Packers.

    In Denver, to pay for our stadiums, there was a baseball/football tax on sales of .1%.  So the really don't pay for themselves.

    OH and then the ticket prices are such that no middle income family can afford to attend unless they snag the bosses tickets or sit in the nose bleed section.

      I was going for snark.

      The 'obviously' link goes to a report on exactly how sports arenas DO NOT pay for themselves.

      As a lifelong Bears fan, I am loathe to complement the Packers, but, yes (sigh), they really are the model for how a sports team should be run. Bastards.
