The US prison system is not part of the US?

You can parse until you're blue in the face but it won't change a thing. And it won't make the US gov't look any less like lying hypocrites.

      If it's
      Not your body,
      Then it's
      Not your choice
      And it's
      None of your damn business!

concede there are significant differences between the civilian justice system and the military justice system ranging from different rules and regulations, types of penalties, and format of the trial?

Justanothernyer is absolutely correct, Eric Holder had nothing to do with Manning's situation.  To imply or outright say differently is a boldfaced lie.

has it's own jurisprudence and penal system. The USAG and the Justice Department have no authority in or over it.

Fear doesn't just breed incomprehension. It also breeds a spiteful, resentful hate of anyone and everyone who is in any way different from you.

      Which would be correct.

      Thanks for clarifying. :-)))))
