  •  Or a constitution, for that matter.... (8+ / 0-)

    Oh... wait....

Since AUMF, Patriot Act, MCA '06, FISA fiasco '08, and MCA '09 (and extensions of some of them that were due to expire)... we don't have our constitutional rights....

    My bad.

    I forgot....

And our Cretinous Congress Critters have forgotten the Declaration's meaning of "unalienable rights" and that they only have their powers by the "consent of the governed" - except, in the last 13 years the voters haven't consented to having their rights taken away.  Our rights were taken away from us without our direct voting for said insanity.

We have a mell of a hess that needs straightening out..., starting with repealing, in full, not just a paragraph here or there, all of the illegal and unconstitutional laws that took away our rights!!!!!

Why would any Congress Critters, in their right minds, vote to approve of unconstitutional and illegal laws, even if they did so only "temporarily" and put an expiration date that the unconstitutional laws would be in effect?  Why extend those unconstitutional laws?  Huge mysteries!  [Is the answer that they want to take away our rights permanently, but want us to first get used to not having our rights and that we come to love Big Brother so it'll make it easier to permanently change the constitution?]

I'm sick of attempts to steer this nation from principles evolved in The Age of Reason to hallucinations derived from illiterate herdsmen. ~ Crashing Vor

    •  And don't forget the NDAA which actually makes (0+ / 0-)

those so called "FEMA camps" explicitly legal (at least once Obama's signing statement expires on Jan 20, 2017).
