    intensifies the flavor. I pick chanterelle mushrooms on The Rock and dry them. It's super-easy: I take a needle and thread and string them up like cranberries for a Christmas tree. Then I hang them in the attic for a couple of weeks. They can be stored then in ziplock bags or some other kind of container for a long time. Simply reconstitute them and use them in a recipe. You can do the same with any mushrooms you might find at market, the farm stand, or, if you know what you're doing (I do), in the woods.
