here in Monroe, MI (Monroe Co., immediately S of Wayne Co./Detroit).  The Belgian Feather Bowling Family Entertainment center.  There is also a third one in Mt. Clemens (Macomb Co., immediately N of Wayne Co./Detroit), the Bath City Bistro.  I am not a feather bowler, but your diary inspired me to do some research.

French, French-Canadian, and Belgian immigrants have come to Michigan since before the French-and-Indian war, and up to recent times.  Some of my French/French-Canadian ancestors have been here since Sault Ste. Marie and Detroit were established as outposts of New France in the midst of Native American country.  This was before the French-and-Indian War, and before the U.S., Canada or Belgium existed as nations.
