  •  Once a manufacturing manager, now a piano teacher (11+ / 0-)

I left manufacturing in 1995 for what was supposed to be a 5-7 year hiatus to raise my kids, who were little at the time.  When I tried to return to the workforce, the manufacturing jobs in Michigan were being sucked away by the tens of thousands.

My son's piano teacher suggested I teach and encouraged me to volunteer at the middle school as an accompanist.

Today I have all the students I can handle.  I LOVE teaching piano.  Beautiful children come to my home and play music for me.  What could be better?

Imagine all the people, living life in peace. You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. John Lennon
