    of gay sex, and you shouldn't expect that.  Not from a church that makes people confess for enjoying wet dreams too much.  You'll never win on that.  It's the Catholic Church.

    But you shouldn't ignore what a huge difference this is.  "Who am I to judge?"  Well, Bill Donohue certainly wants to judge people.  This is a big kick in the ass to people like him.

    I'm not a Catholic, don't endorse Catholicism, don't want to be one, it's none of my business, but I can still see huge positive implications in this.  You say this isn't a new position, but I think it is because it sounds very genuine this time and it's coming from the top.  It will have ramifications on the most zealous gay-bashers of the Catholic Church, and we've already seen that in the massive outpouring of hatred at the Vatican's Twitter account that CNN was talking about today.
