  •  Yeah, well dont be surprised if Obama falls for it (12+ / 0-)

again and put an even bigger pile of the 99 percent's money on the table than he did the last time. And the time before that. And the time before that. Just so WaPo op-ed writers will say some nice things about how he's 'reaching out across the aisle'. Then Repubs will say (again), look, Obama wants to push your granddad off a cliff.

      'reaching out across the aisle'.

he decided, upon first becoming president, that he would cement his legacy as being a conciliator. While that would be noble gesture to men of character and stature, it is the recipe for for a mediocre Presidency when you are dealing with the current crop of narrow minded, greed bound, representatives of the monied class who pander to the low brow electorate such as the tea party.
I voted for Obama, still have his sticker on my vehicle, and would under the circumstances do it again. He is a man of great intellect and potential. Sad to see that fatal mistake of misplaced trust condemn him to mediocrity.

It says, "Not a Republican." There are only a few politicians who I would stand up for and none of them have bumper stickers. I used to agree with you about BHO, but now, not so much. How sad for all of us, right?

spring eternal. I'm just afraid he is just trying to make it to the finish line with no major disasters. I wish him luck.
