  •  She didn't swat him away. (0+ / 0-)

I don't believe hitting anyone is justifiable unless it is true self defense.

But she hit him pretty clearly and it's difficult to tell if he landed. If this is the only instance in his life, do you think that warrants expulsion from the team?

It there is no justification, for hitting someone, shouldn't she be in trouble too? I forgot to mention that she was there underage. Isn't that also against the law.

As someone who has heard the stories of serial abusers, I have to tell you this looks pretty mild.

The truth is that there is nothing noble in being superior to somebody else. The only real nobility is in being superior to your former self. -Whitney Young

team. Or that it was not domestic violence, but assault. And that he accosted her on the dance floor, where she was minding her own business.

I see nowhere that there is a relationship at all between these two people. In fact in the video it looks like he was asked by another man to approach her.

And she should be arrested because she was underage in the bar?  What does that have to do with assault?  You're just grasping for straws to  bolster your 'unfair' meme.

Unfortunately I don't find it unbelievable that you were a DV counselor. It is however depressing as hell.

He was suspended "for conduct not representative of this football program or this university"

"Our players are taught to walk away," Ohio State coach Urban Meyersaid Wednesday during a visit to ESPN in Bristol, Conn. "(Hyde's) punishment was because he didn't walk away."
