    This style of trike, known as a "tadpole" has advantages over the single front wheel. First, the rear wheel is the drive wheel, so that you don't get the torque steering effect. Second, stability is improved, and you can set the center of gravity lower in this style. Of course, excess crazy will produce instability, but that's true with any vehicle.

    Since the front wheels steer together, with just a little weight shift, you can avoid a lot of the squirreling that makes "conventional" trikes crazy. (they are known as "delta" trikes in the biz)

    I think it's a great idea, but I share your fear of cars not playing nice.
