        But there are people here who speak, again from their gut, and say that Americans support Snowden.  Or that he's innocent.  Public opinion disagrees, right or wrong.

        Everyone has their opinion.  Everyone thinks they are right.  But the winner at the end of the day is who is ultimately determined to have been "right" or "wrong."  So we will have to see.

        If in 20 years Snowden is still in Russia and Manning still in prison and no one cares, it will speak plainly enough.

          and that one cannot trust the judgment of the same American public that gave the Wur Agin Eyerackie Turr near-90% approval while it was a fireworks show over Baghdad thoughtfully brought to us by CNN's sponsors.

          However, given the kind of laws Snowden broke, I prefer to call him a patriot than an unconvicted traitor.
