    employer agreement.  That agreement has always been fought for, period.  Holding a microphone just above the actor's head isn't something a whole lot of people would describe as a special skill.  And, don't get me started on Acting itself.  ;)

    Those unions work not because of the special skills that the studios need, but because the workers on the films insist that no one works unless everyone is in a union.  Even those on the outside of the unions see the value.  During the last actor's strike scabs were few.

    What other end game is there for the workers doing these walkouts?  They can get a few concessions, or begin forming old-school trade unions.
