  •  I've said it a million times now - Sherrod Brown! (9+ / 0-)

It's gotta be Sherrod Brown.  Not only does he have the right stances on the issues to fix our country, but he will perfectly tap into the growing antiestablishment resentments in the electorate (considering it is highly unlikely the economy will rebound by '16), which makes him the perfect sandbag for Hillary.

He's the king of retail politics and he's the best we've got with blue-collar voters.  This combined with the fact that Hillary does terribly in Iowa and is well known for hating Iowa and Iowans with every fiber of her being (see: Game Change), with the endorsement of another populist like Tom Harkin, Brown could start off strong in the first primary, then once it's on to New Hampshire and Michigan Hillary will discover that the blue-collar voters she could rely on to vote for her against Obama aren't there anymore with somebody like Brown around saying all the things she'd never say.

Do you really think she'd drag herself through the primaries all over again, if the states she used to justify staying in the race last time (Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Massachusetts) aren't going to go for her?

in running? I don't disagree with what you're saying - he would be a formidable candidate.

hahaha...OK, I tried Googling "Sherrod Brown 2016" and the first page was filled with your posts, "Sherrod Brown 2016, or America is f*cked." So good job with the promotion, but where is Sherrod Brown himself in all this?
