  •  The credibility of the Democratic Party depends (6+ / 0-)

on there being a STRONG AND AGGRESSIVE CHALLENGER (these caps were unintended,  but I'll keep them) primarying Clinton from the left. It needs to be demonstrated that there is a Democratic Wing to the Democratic Party, one that has the interests of the working classes (and that includes the so-called middle class) at heart, rather than the upper 10 %.  That may keep the Progressives aboard.

Because frankly, if there is not a serious challenge, it will prove what many have said since Howard Dean, no Democrat can win the Democratic Primary. Frankly, I'm done voting for DINOs. I think progressives might actually be better off letting the fascists win, if that's what it takes to teach the Democratic Party establishment that the only way they will win again is by actually nominating people who fervently support traditional Democratic values, and serve the American worker.

      •  White House? or Buckingham Palace? (0+ / 0-)

Nothing against Hillary (other than that same old DINO baggage), but when do we change the name to Buckingham Palace?  Yes, it's 'our' turn, and unfortunately it's still a lesser of two evils at the ballot box, but this family ties in the White House crap has got to go.

      •  That worked really well for us in 2010 (1+ / 0-)

        Let's do it again.

Yep, that will teach them a lesson.

What about the rest of Americans?

I'm asking you to believe. Not in my ability to bring about real change in Washington ... *I'm asking you to believe in yours.* Barack Obama

        •  That's just it. (0+ / 0-)

In 2010 the 50 state strategy had been abandoned, and the Democratic party had already switched to being an arm of the committee to re-elect Obama. We lost seats because national resources that had turned red seats blue in 2008 wasn't there, and were instead being spent in supposedly more secure districts to develop local resources to help Obama's re-election. It was like planting a crop, and then not bothering to water it.
