    He "forgot" to list the identity of an employer.  (He was not required to list a salary.)  That identity was for use for recusal purposes, if that employer ever came before the SCOTUS -- which it did not.  

    He then did exactly what numerous other federal judges have done with respect to that same disclosure form --he amended it.  (Numerous federal judges have done that.)

    If that omitted employer had come as a party to the SCOTUS and Justice Thomas has failed to recuse himself, THAT would have been a big deal.  But since that never happened, it wasn't.
