    ...was very obvious in The Moon is a Harsh Mistress.  That said, while I don't necessarily agree with the politics of that book, it is still one of my favorite novels and qualifies as a classic.  And as libertarian fiction goes, it is certainly much better than anything Ayn Rand ever turned out...  But that certainly doesn't qualify Heinlein for any sort of progressive crown.
