  •  Tonight was Vegetarian Night at our house (8+ / 0-)

so we had Cold Sesame Noodles, which is spaghetti and a peanut butter-soy sauce mixed with sesame oil, a touch of red pepper, garlic, and minced fresh ginger.  It was topped with diced green onions and chopped peanuts but I added cute bright orange Sun Gold cherry tomatoes from our garden.

For afters we had slices of sweet fresh cantaloupe, peeled, so we could fork them up with no trouble.

Your pizza recipes sound good!  My son the ex-chef showed us how to make what he called "cleaning out the fridge" pizza.  You put whatever you've got left over on it.  Some diced red onion? Yep.  Bit of green pepper? A few spinach leaves? A little bit of ham, slivered?  Yes, just whatever you have plus sauce, seasoning, and a bit of cheese.

It was fun to make but we haven't had it for a while. I'm getting increasingly lazy about cooking, so I just pop a Paul Newman Four-Cheese pizza in the oven and we have that.
