      I am a lawyer.  However, the practial ability of defendants to uncover this kind of information is a real question.  After all, prosecutors are supposed to turn over potentially exculpatory evidence too, but don't.  

      It may be that the defense bar starts asking without having it thrown out as a fishing expedition, but many overworked PDs won't.

      Touch all that arises with a spirit of compassion. An activist seeks to change opinion.
