That is why I say it is about culture.  He thought that was a perfectly reasonable thing to do in that situation, but he really should have been as silent and confident as possible.

Its probably because I live in a much more multicultural home than you do.  My spouse is black and I am pretty white culturally and I've seen how we  both react to things like this.

You say he immediately started to "demand" why he was being arrested and you made that up as it is contrary to the story. I don't think it is fair to project onto a person what he did and blame them...whatever his "culture".

Bob does not say that and it wasn't a demand it was questioning which seems normal. He  did that long after "immediately" -he was in the back of a police car, handcuffed and on the way to the station.

Regardless of your home environment, not that you can assume yours is "much more multicultural" than mine, projecting behavior onto Bob because of his "culture" seems wrong and unfair.

You are correct however that my home currently is  not multicultural- it cannot be multi anything as I live alone. My city neighborhood, however, is extremely diverse ethnically and socioeconomically. It is also known as one of two neighborhoods in my city where LBGT people live and are most comfortable. White people are a minority in my neighborhood.
