Fossil fuels as a commodity are too lucrative. Profit can be cut a hundred times - point of sale, shipping, storage, refining, shipping, processing, storage, extraction, facilities, exploration, R&D, diplomacy, not to mention financialization.

Can that many cuts be made with renewables? I don't think so.

And then there's the repetitive nature of profits centralized commoditization. Renewables is just a service once we get up and running. The service economy is for chumps and consumers. Producers don't do that.

These companies, along with their financial managers need to be kneecapped and beat down. They are the greatest threat to the planet, to our way of life and to humanity in general.

what u are saying makes sense. However basically 90% of the planet
is or should be looking to ramp up renewables to the Max. So riddle
me this batman. Why haven't they been able to create the game changing discovery?

      •  We had 50 MPG cars in 1985. So where are the (0+ / 0-)

        discoveries there?

We got tracking systems, aggressive posture, and iPods instead.

Look at Germany. No wars and no trashed ecosystems.
