People are going to switch over from Meet the Press or Face the Nation and eagerly tune into "Paid Programming sponsored by...."

      •  I never suggested that (0+ / 0-)

That was your (sarcastic) idea; so perhaps you are not aware of alternatives????

        •  Guess I'm not aware (0+ / 0-)

Where were you planning to buy time that the average Joe and Jane Citizen was going to eagerly tune in to hear the unified Dem message? Where do you propose the masses will go to get the truth about climate change, and income inequality, offshoring of jobs, effects of gerrymandering etc?

            ...DON'T go to watch television.

Let's face it: Most people don't purchase cable television channels to watch infomercials about liberal politics :)

            •  not aware (0+ / 0-)

You are probably not aware of the possibilities for communicatin in the digital age. There are lots of tools for us to use. BTW, C-Span is your idea, not mine.

              •  It must be a terrible burden to walk around... (0+ / 0-)

                ...with such a persecution complex.

Digital Age or otherwise, programs designed to inundate the viewing audience with a political point-of-view would draw as well as those penis enlargement infomercials broadcast at 3a on Tru TV. But hey, think what you want. It's a free country.
