    The yellow is the light emitted from the sun, the red is the light reaching earth. Some of the ultra violet light is being adsorbed as it passes through the atmosphere. For a bee, white would be shifted toward the blue, so I am thinking that the sun's light would be a bit redder for them. But vision is much more the just rods and cones. The energy being detected is filtered through a brain, so I would suspect that the diaries title is revealing. How a bee sees the sun is quite possible totally alien to us - and we share the same planet.
