    We can't truly create bacteria or viruses, but we can control them. That's one of the foundational achievements of modern medicine.

    We didn't create the mountains in Appalachia, but we sure as hell can control them—just look at mountaintop removal mining.

    When ignoramuses like Rush Limbaugh and Ken Ham are directing science policy for a major political party, it's a sign that party is desperate to return to the 11th century.
