that he hasn't figured out that CNN is just another mouthpiece for the GOP, and anything they produce about Hillary Clinton, will more than likely, not show her in a positive light.

      1.  He keeps the clownfest that is the Republic primaries off the air.  That is a huge plus for the Republicans.  If Romney had come out of nowhere, with no baggage from the primaries -- including the public memory of all the stupid things said by all the other Republican candidates --, he'd have been in much better shape to put out whatever message he wanted.

      2.  He gets to work the refs:  They refused to fairly cover our primary debates, we won't attend the Presidential debates unless they are all moderated by a neutral party, like Karl Rove.

      3.  He gets to disparage any negative press by saying, these people aren't even impartial enough to cover our primaries, how can you believe any of their reporting on us?   The purity of the echo chamber is the only thing that keeps Republicans afloat now; anything that strengthens that is good for the GOP.

The first is the most important.  The more Americans get to know Republican politicians and what they have in store for the country, the more Americans despise them.

At this point in the game, 2 years away from serious primary campaigning, this is all "we're underdogs because of liberal media, so stick with us"

I think the RNC recognizes their 2012 debates as being damaging.  They probably regret not sitting on the obvious crackpots in 2012 to try to keep them out of the debates and primaries.

They know that their nominee in 2016 will NEED publicity, but they also need to limit the number of debates, as mentioned at the end of the RNC resolution.

The more that their eventual nominee gets pushed and pulled by the fellow crazoids, the worse it is for them.  And I think they know that.
