    be weaker against a Democrat here. It certainly wasn't with Paul.

    I think if McConnell barely survives his primary and blows his money he would have a good chance of losing.

      ..Matt Bevin who doesn't have the "libertarian" creds that Paul did/does or the name recognition coming from Ron Paul.

      It certainly wasn't with Paul.
      So Matt Bevin is the weak link in comparing the two not the tea party itself so much

      I's a close call but McConnell if he prevails with major national backing would probably be a more formidable challenge because of it.

      Bevin presented himself well at the Fancy Farm Picnic which is considered an important venue.  He sounded very much like a nice sane guy in tune with conservative Kentucky voters.
