The US doesn't have a great track record on its support for countries and their leaders: Noriega, Saddam, Bin Laden, Marcos, Papa Doc, The Shah of Iran, Mubarak, The Assads of Syria, Qaddafi, Pinochet, Batista, Karzai, and many more. With several of these dictators we've been "for them" before we were "against them," stripping our treasury to supply them with arms which often ended up being used against us. Now, we come to Israel a country that refuses to stop building new settlements or to sincerely negotiate for peace. How often have we and other countries asked for the Israelis to stop building and start talking? Israel has become its own worst enemy.  We can't possibly save a country which doesn't give a damn what anyone else thinks. Yet, we keep sending money and weapons there. We keep sending money and weapons to thugs in Eqypt. Will we ever have the courage to say, "if you want to fight do it on your own nickle. Good-bye"
