We aren't allowed, actually, to oppose the democratic nominee of the party.
The admin on this site is MORE than accommodating for those expressions.

next time I write a diary here recommending Jill Stein as the next President of the United States.

      Not.

In fact, Kos banned people for comments critical of Obama in the election run-up.

than 'oppose the Democratic nominee'. But you already knew that.

        •  I guess you didn't read your previous comment (5+ / 0-)

          nor my second link.

Once again: you're wrong, and you're wrong.

          •  No, I'm not wrong. You just don't get it. (1+ / 0-)

And you clearly won't, or are choosing not to. That one kossack openly advocating for impeachment is still here.

Yes, if you constantly double-down on the anti-Dem party stuff while Kos is around, and are pretty much a dick about it, then yeah, you could get banned. But to imply that any dissent is just banned is ridiculous.

Which leads us back to the original question that you've never really fleshed out: Why do remain a participant in such a vile, fascist, capitalist-loving, authoritarian site like this?

      •  Okay. (0+ / 0-)

Since you decided to point the link, I decided to read the whole history of it.

The person banned literally asked for it to be done.  The person banned was, under Kos' previous iteration of community standards, being a 'dick' in that he/she had gone beyond the pale in berating the diarist's diary.

Also, Kos was unilaterally banning all sorts of persons because things were getting out of hand -- kinda like now causing DK to reconfigure the algoriums concerning HRs.

Now, I took your diary at your word and that you wanted to have a serious discussion about this subject.

But let's be factual.  More than one or two Kossers have said as much before and since the election.

They just were smart enough not to triple dog dare the Administrator to ban them off the site.

that's why he typed the words "it's a big internet, and if you don't support the nominee, there are other sites for you".

Bad things aren't bad! And anyway, there's mitigation!
