  •  A dude on ANCIENT ALIENS sez it was ancient aliens (5+ / 0-)

that carved the blocks with 'laser beams'. Of course. What else could it be? Its a little known fact that Neil Armstrong left sketches of a doggie and a horsie in the sand on the Moon.

    •  I saw that show Doc (6+ / 0-)

I swear that show can piss me off and at the same time provide comedic entertainment. Like the one where, because the height and width of the pyramids correspond to pi they had to have been built by aliens. Then some students figured out they probably used a wheel to mark off the base therefore it would correspond to pi.

They just can't seem to grasp the ancient people were brilliant and resourceful.

And my favorite. The cliff dwelling Pueblo Indians of the Southwest built their homes into the cliff faces to hide from aliens flying over. Seems the aliens would enslave the Pueblo to mine precious metals for them. Uh, could it be they built there homes in the cliffs to escape the blistering heat?

      Great diary Ojibwa, as always.

caves, and aliens are notoriously claustrophobic.
So it makes perfect sense. Esp if youve seen AVP 25 times because you can never get a date on Sat night.
