It's not in the Constitution, sillia, it's in the Gettysburg Address: "..that a government of the corporation, by the corporation and for the corporation shall not perish from the Earth." At least, that's how the Party of Lincoln reads it!

In Puritan times, stocks and bonds were not rewards for evil-doers, but punishments.

A history teacher I know had the opinion that Lincoln's G'burg address, "of the people, by the people, for the people" was influenced by Marxist/socialists that emigrated from Germany after 1848. Apparently Lincoln had some of these people as advisors, in the Cabinet, etc.? I've never looked into it but I like the idea.

Lincoln's legacy is like MLK's legacy--the slogans sound real sweet but if you actually look at what was said and what was meant, it would be frightening to certain established groups.

Where in the Constitution does it say: "...on behalf of corporate interests" ???
