    rather than overall climate, which iirc is a broader area. There are ups and downs locally especially year by year but the conditions in one locality in short span of two years don't hold much weight compared to the overall wider picture over time. That's why I was confused.

    I'm in the Northeast. We have had a few heatwaves but otherwise plenty of seasonal to cool weather this year. I do not think, at all, that says anything about global climate change. Overall, though, we have been having a higher number of days above 90 degrees than we did two or more decades ago. People old enough have noticed that and the data supports that observation. In fact, our plant hardyness zone has changed...we are like how Delaware used to be a generation ago..that much warmer in the winter now.
