    As a Watauga County resident, I can assure you that discussions have begun as to how to handle this atrocity, but making the Republicans really feel the backlash is going to require planning and organizing on a massive scale.

    For any Watauga County residents who are prepared to put their money (and time) where their mouth is, I urge you to get in touch with the county Democratic party and, if you're a student, the College Democrats - and don't wait. We need to have an actionable plan in place at least a year out, which means the planning needs to happen in the coming months. If you want to be part of that planning (of course you do!) then it starts with getting on the contact list of the Watauga County Democrats and getting involved with the College Democrats at ASU.
