  •  It's pretty clear from the name-calling (0+ / 0-)

    That most of the commenters have no idea what Amash's positions are on any issue except the NSA.  Pretty ignorant, for progressives.  He is one congressman who actually explains his votes on every vote taken - check his Facebook page. He votes against his party "leadership" more often than you might think.  And, he has not supported the government shutdown drumbeating, despite aspersions to the contrary in the ThinkProgress post from which this post was lifted.  

    Is he being singled out here because he has called out Obama (and senators from both sides) for lying about domestic spying?  I would hope not.

      positions are horrific and have been proven not to work after decades of trying. He is a righteous ideologue and all the explaining of his votes on Facebook isn't going to soften his incredibly ignorant fantasy views on public policy matters.

      There is much this Rep. doesn't get.
