  •  NO! There may be money from an insurance loss (6+ / 0-)

    paid out, but the agriculture, tourism, people and water will not recover.  Plus, the insurance company will just declare bankruptcy and fail to pay.  New Yorkers will be out their future.  The profits will be pocketed and gone. The rich do not care about us, our children or our future.  

    I am pretty sure that, long term, downstate people will need to move farther inland, so let's be sure there is a nice place to live in New York State when they are ready.
