    It advocates violence (mercenary, not less) and bullying and is completely disrespectful to children.

    I've been a step-mother and a birth-mother and I cannot see any humor in this. It reads more like a domestic tragedy where someone clearly missed some guidance in the parenting department.

      It's not advocating violence. I'm baffled as to why so many people can't tell the difference between a frustrated parent venting and someone who seriously plans on committing an act of violence.

      As I told VetWife, if you never, as a parent, got so frustrated with your child that you thought about driving them off in the middle of the woods and leaving them there, then congrats on being much more mild-tempered and patient than the overwhelming majority of parents. But there's a big difference between talking about leaving your kid in the middle of the woods and actually leaving your kid in the middle of the woods.
